Salary and Benefits

  • The salary range will be $65K-80K, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients on outstanding requests and issues and schedule appointments
  • Application paperwork with Schwab for new clients accounts and money movement
  • Administrative tasks for the firm such as sending out newsletters, birthday and Xmas cards, filing, light compliance work, social media posting, ordering supplies, etc.
  • Update and document tasks in our CRM – Redtail
  • Provide top notch client service with systematic follow up
  • Recommend process improvements for the firm on an ongoing basis – we want to hear how you can make the firm better!
  • Qualify prospects that contact the firm and assist with onboarding new clients using our documented systems and processes
  • Resolve issues effectively – seeing real problems and solving the problems in a practical and helpful manner

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of financial services experience, preferably within an independent RIA
  • Administrative experience in an office environment
  • Experience working with a CRM is preferred
  • MS Office skills with proficient Excel. Willing to take courses to advance Excel proficiency
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with clients and teammates
  • Emphasize careful attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outcomes
  • Self-Starter with ability to meet deadlines and manage your own time effectively – we do not micromanage
  • Strong work ethic – willing to go the extra mile
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem solving and time management skills
  • Critical thinker who naturally looks for process improvements
  • Ability to prioritize and manage projects as well as individually assigned tasks to meet deadlines
  • NOT required, but would be a plus – experience with MoneyGuide Pro, Schwab or Fidelity, Redtail, Orion, Morningstar Advisor Workstation, Precise FP

The Process

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute phone interview conducted by our consultant who is the hiring manager for this position. If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates will be asked to take assessments in the process.
